Advanced Hunter Education

General Information

This is an 18 hour class
Advanced Hunter Education Certification Program covers hunter responsibility and safety skills,  wildlife ways, survival skills, maps and compass, and current issues concerning hunting.
This course meets all other states' hunter education requirements.

There is a $5 replacement fee.

Bowhunter Education Course Requirements

     Requirements

  • Youth ages 12 and older are eligible for certification
  • Youth ages 12-15 must first complete and pass a
    Firearm Safety Training Class
  • States requiring Bow Hunter Education Certification include Alaska, Connecticut, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, South Dakota, and Vermont. Canadian Provinces include New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Quebec. Requirement for some special hunts.

 General Information

The Bow Hunter Education Program covers bow hunting techniques, equipment, bow hunting
safety and hunter responsibility.
Pre-registration is required for field day

Field Day will be 4 hours

Wildlife Species Clinics Course Requirements
Bear and Turkey

    General Information

This an 3 hour class
Clinics for bear, turkey, and waterfowl are held for an opportunity to learn about the
biology and behavior of certain species.
