General Information
This is an 18 hour class
Advanced Hunter Education Certification Program covers hunter
responsibility and safety skills, wildlife ways, survival
skills, maps and compass, and current issues concerning hunting.
This course meets all other states' hunter education requirements.

There is a $5 replacement fee.

Requirements
- Youth ages 12 and older are eligible for certification
- Youth ages 12-15 must first complete and pass a
Firearm Safety Training Class
- States requiring Bow Hunter Education Certification include
Alaska, Connecticut, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Montana,
Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island,
South Dakota, and Vermont. Canadian Provinces include New
Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Quebec. Requirement for some special hunts.

equipment, bow hunting
safety and hunter responsibility.
